Self-discovery never ends, unless you want it to. I like the idea of laying down on a lawn, but mine is currently like a dust bowl. Maybe I'll eat a peach over the sink instead.

Thank you very much, Bob. Honestly, eating a peach over the sink is the indoor cousin of lying in the grass. Same spirit, less debris, unless your chin counts. I fully endorse your method of staying amused and alive.

Love this. I also lay in my yard. Nice grounding

Thank you very much, Gail. It was something I would always do as a kid, gazing at the sky. Adults should take the time, as well, even with a pair of hedge clippers. 😊

Lyn, thank you, sweet friend. Believe we are navigating defiant, non-compliant quite well.

As I read your post, my mind found its way back to this past weekend. We were able to enjoy a memorial to Kathy's uncle Richard at Broad Creek Boy Scout Reserve. Her uncle, who died last year just before Thanksgiving, had been involved in scouting for about 35 years, 25 of them as scout master. Kathy's brothers and out sons all had had the privilege of being in his troop. We watched the beautiful tribute and fireworks (provided by Kathy's brothers company) in the amphitheater constructed in the hill sloping down to a pond. We sat on the slates of rock seats.

After the service, some scouts were running up the stone steps, two or three at a time. I mused on the fact that it seemed just yesterday that could have been me. Now I just hope to get to the top by whatever means necessary I am glad you are still able to act out those flashbacks to childhood. Enjoy every twist and turn.
